      “_gid”: Registers a unique ID used to track statistics about how the visitor uses the website.
    • Marketing cookies are used to track you as visitor across websites. The purpose is to show ads that are relevant
      and engaging to the individual user, and thus more valuable to publishers and third party advertisers. Our website uses a marketing cookie called “collect”. This cookie is used to send data to Google Analytics about the visitor’s device and behavior. Trace you as a visitor across devices and marketing channels.

 

Plugins and tools

 

The website uses installed plugins (functionalities), which beside creating the graphical expression and functionality on the website also protect against malicious attacks and collect personal data like IP addresses. One of these plugins are Wordfence, which is protecting against the before mentioned attacks. In this plugin the visitor’s IP addresses are collected. Besides that we apply Google Analytics as an analytical tool, which collects IP addresses as well as information about gender, age group, and possible interests. Furthermore, we use MailChimp to store e-mail addresses of those who have signed up for our newsletter. The purpose of storing these e-mail addresses is exclusively to be able to send newsletters to the registered.

This happens for instance by ordinary access of the content, if you sign up for our newsletter, use the contact form, as well as moving between subpages on our website.

To the extent you give explicit consent and enter information in our contact form and newsletter sign up form, we collect, save, and process following information: Name, e-mail, subject and message.

We have made technical and organizational measures to ensure that your personal data is accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, impaired or comes to the knowledge of unauthorized people, abused or moreover is processed contrary to the law.

 

Purpose

Personal data is used to identify you as a user, in order to be able to deliver services you have demanded, such as sending newletters and reply to your inquiries via the contact form. Besides that we use the data to optimize our services and content.

 

Period of storage

Personal data is stored in the period of time that is permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period of storage depends on the type of data and the reason for the storage. Therefore, it is not possible to specify a general time frame for when the information is deleted. 

 

Disclosure of information

Data about your usage of our website, geographic location, gender and age group etc. is disclosed to third parties to the extent that this information is known. You can see which third parties in the sections “Cookies” and “Plugins and tools” above. The information is used to improve content as well as protect our website against malicious attacks.

We are primarily using these third parties to store and process data. These third parties process data exclusively on our behalf, and are not allowed to use this data for own purposes.
